CHArt CHArt Computers and the History of Art - 1997 Conference Demonstrations
New Internet technologies such as VRML (Virtual Reality Modelling Language) and Java promise to revolutionise the WWW making it more three dimensional and interactive. To this end the Networked Virtual Reality Resources Centre for Art and Design (NVRCADs), located at the Universities of Teesside, Plymouth and Coventry, have been set up to cut through computer science jargon and help those in Art and Design Further and Higher Education to become familiar with these technologies and use them to redesign the web.
