CHArt CHArt Computers and the History of Art - 1997 Conference Demonstrations
Chadwyck-Healey will be presenting Release One of their new CD-ROM, Art Theorists of the Italian Renaissance. Structured around Vasari's Lives of the Artists, this new full text database gathers together 52 texts with their notes, and over 4,000 original illustrations which can be enhanced using flexible magnification, pan and zoom features. All the widely studied works of the genre are represented as well as a selection of rare, and often inaccessible manuscripts.
