While major exhibitions of artists using computers have been held overseas, remarkably little has been exhibited in London. The advantages for a painter using a paint system are self-evident, but the medium prompts a change in approach, a change that a somewhat conservative painting 'Establishment' is reluctant to make. The full range of electronic art, from virtual reality to CDs, was to have been represented in the exhibition 'Cool Heaven', an exhibition that represented great diversity, imagination, creativity. This could be the first global art movement.
