Fifteen Years of Art Imaging
Since I started working in computer applications for cultural heritage area in 1988, imaging techniques have improved dramatically and allowed new ways of looking at museum artefacts. In this talk I will outline the major advances in both 2D and 3D acquisition systems and illustrate the use of this data in conservation, research and virtual museums.
